AI - intelligent feeding

For several years, we have collected over 700.000 videos of important feeding situations. We have reviewed and discussed these with feeding operators from many different salmon farmers through more than 3000 follow-up meetings. This has given us a unique ability to understand; feeding fish, the people who do the work and what technology will benefit from improving feeding performance.

We see this practical understanding as fundamental to succeed in the work of developing machine learning algorithms. Some distance into the future, we envisage that feeding of fish is controlled by AI, and that the feeding operators are controllers and analysts.

We are evolving step by step, and currently able to use AI to assess feeding situations in such a way that it provides benefits to improve the feeding performance that is performed.
